V40-44 Female Winner

We’ve talked about a few of our category winners with ‘near perfect’ records: here’s a rider that went one better. Ceris Styler of Rotor Race Team won all eleven rounds of the WMCCL – including the West Midlands Regional Championships. And that was not just winning her category (V40-44), that was winning the combined Women’s race, which includes all female riders from age sixteen upwards.

Okay, we know Ceris is one of the very best: she’s currently level at the top of the National Trophy standings as well, but to stay at the top year after year is truly remarkable. We are very proud to call her ‘one of our own’.

Ceris is joined on the V40-44 Female podium by Ceri Shephard of Stratford CC (second) and Kara Weir of Peddlamaniacs CC (third).

Ceris has sent us these words.

“This season has been so much fun, I have loved all of the races! WMCCL is a fantastic league and I’d like to thank all of the committee, commissaries, organisers and volunteers for all they do to make it happen.

It’s great to see so many kids racing, and progressing through, I’ve had some great battles this year with Rebecca Woodvine and Zoe Parker, both who raced my own kids in the U8 and U10 categories years ago!!! It’s hard to choose a favourite race as they were all so good, and great fun too! We have a wonderful women’s only race, such great support, enthusiasm and camaraderie between everyone.

Being part of the Rotor Race Team this year with their help and support has been great. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy 2025, see you all again for more fun racing in September!”
