Another of our youngest winners was Innes Weir of Peddlamaniacs CC. He triumphed in the Under-8 Male category with a near perfect record. He won all but two of the rounds. They were won by second-placed Quinn Holdstock. Scott Cary was third.
This is what Innes said about his season.
“Highlight of the year was riding at Shrewsbury. I did some good practice riding off camber sections with my Peddlamaniacs coaches Mark and Michelle the week before the race, so I was able to get a good lead early on and just enjoy the race.
I enjoyed the technical courses the most as they are the most fun to ride. The hardest race of the year was definitely the second race at Heart of England because it was just so boggy.
I’m really looking forward to moving up to U10s next year so I can do some more technical courses!”
We’ll try to give you some fun courses next year Innes!
