Genny Billington of Bromsgrove Olympique was our Senior Female Champion for 2024. She finished well clear of Melissa Baker, who was second, and Laura Rogers third. Genny was also second overall in the combined Women’s standings behind Ceris Styler.
“This year, I went into the season wanting to take the league more seriously and found it paid off with a bit more running and weight training. I really enjoyed both races at the Heart of England Centre, and Shrewsbury is always a favourite. Only having one bike proved to be hard in thick mud but pleased to win that again too. Thanks again to all organisers and clubs.”
Genny has also joined the League Committee, so she is playing her part in making all this happen. Well done Genny!
