We are delighted to announce that Round 12 of the Shimano Lazer WMCCL has been saved. But we must use a different venue, and the new date is slightly different to that suggested when the postponement was announced.
The event will now take place at Abbey Stadium in Redditch on Sunday 4-Jan.
We initially hoped to be able to use the original venue, and that was only available on Saturday 3-Jan. But now we had to move to a different venue, we prefer to revert to the Sunday. That is for the following reasons:
- it is our usual event day;
- it allows those returning from the National Trophy event in Scotland on the 2nd and 3rd the chance to ride, and
- it allows the rest of us another day to recover and return from New Year trips.
We understand that this won’t suit everyone who would like to ride the final WMCCL event of the season, so refunds will be available again for those who entered the original event.
