Leon Field of Dynamic Rides is another of our category winners who is passing on a love of cyclocross to his family. He tells us about that below. Leon won our Masters 60-64 Open category. He also dominated the wider M60+ race – winning seven of the rounds. Leon’s teammate, Stephen Broatch, was second and Peter Bromwich third among the M60-64s.
“Great to win the vet 60s and having my 4yr old grandson Ronnie racing at some of the rounds. Has been a pleasure racing all the lads in the vets 60s. Enjoyed racing for the Dynamic rides race team and getting involved in the course building at Heart of England.
WMCCL as always have put a great league together with the clubs putting on some amazing events. Finally thanks to pit crew Dawn and the loudest support team: grandkids Millie and Ronnie.”
