Female Under-23 Champion

Rebecca Woodvine is a shining example to all our young riders. She grew up riding the WMCCL, and is now riding at the top level in the UK and Europe. But she ‘comes home’ to the League whenever she can, and she did that enough times this season to become our Under-23 Female Champion. Here’s what she has told us.

“I’d first like to say a big thank you to all the organisers, volunteers and everyone behind the scenes of WM CX. The hours of graft, course building and everything in between makes this league. Also sending all my love to Ceris Styler, for a speedy recovery.
I’ve had a pretty manic season, a month away in Belgium mixed with lots of UCI races in the UK, but one thing – I’ve learned tonnes and tonnes!

My favourite race this season was WM Champs in Baggeridge. I was happy to take the U23 Women’s Title and having a performance I was happy with.

One more weekend of CX left for this season, taking me to Belgium in early Feb. Thank you to the team (Fossa Racing), for allowing me to continue to grow and experience the biggest races.

I already can’t wait for next year, to put all I’ve learned this year into practice. We’ve got some big goals and amazing races already planned in the calendar. See you in September!”

We’ll look out for you in those Belgian races Becca!
