The fight for our Under-12 Boys title was extremely close. It came down to the final round. Danny Davies of The Bulls had six wins and Nathan Edmunds of Stratford Cycling Club had five. But they were equal on points. So, it was ‘winner takes all’ in Round 12, and it was Danny who won to take the title. Lucas Shephard of Stratford CC was third.
It’s great to have such a close contest in the League. We hope it continues through the years, and that both Danny and Nathan benefit from the competition to become top riders. Danny certainly appreciates his rivals…
“I have really enjoyed the 2025 CX season with WMCCL again this year due to being so many rounds and the different courses. My favourite course being Redditch as I love the off camber technical parts.
This season has been very competitive with a number of different riders battling for the win which has really pushed my riding to its limits, so I’d like to say thank you to Nathan Edmunds, Joey Gill and Lucas Shepherd for some really great racing this year.
Thank you to dad for making sure my bike is always clean and ready to race.
I’m moving up to the Youth B (Under-14’s) next year and really looking forward to the longer courses with even more technical aspects. Not sure dad is looking forward to washing 2 bikes though!”.
