Isabelle Dent from Worcester St John’s Cycling Club rode every round of WMCCL 2025/26 and she won all but two of the Under-10 Girls’ races. That gave her the highest possible points score in our best 10 from 12 system: 1,000 points!
It was nevertheless a tough category with Felicity Keene of Redditch Road & Path Cycling Club and Tara Richmond-Russell of Cycle Stars always not far behind. Felicity was one of only two girls to beat Isabelle, which she did on her home course at Abbey Stadium to claim second place in the standings.
Isabelle acknowledges the great work in developing young talent going on at her club.
“I really enjoyed all the support at every race and the new courses which we hadn’t done before. Baggeridge was my favourite again and one of my best performances. I also really enjoyed seeing all my cyclo-cross friends and cheering them on as well.
A big thank you to Paul Sobczyk, our club coach and all the Worcester St John’s team mates and their families (as well as all our non-WSJCC club friends and families). It was great to get a new bike half way through the season and really challenge Felicity and James Keene who pushed me to do so well. We love riding together! I can’t wait to see everyone again in September.”
Well done Isabelle! We hope to see great things from you in the future.
