Nick Morris of Clee Cycles was our Masters 40-45 Open Champion for 2025/26. Consistency was the key to his success. After a difficult start to the season, he won three rounds and was always in the top three. Chris Mapp of Gorilla CC was second and Andy Wearing third. Gary Price put in late challenge in this category, but didn’t ride enough events to maximise his points tally.
Nick said this about his season.
“After a terrible first round crash and DNF, it wasn’t a great start, but I found my legs and got going from Round 2. Every round was great, with some really top class courses, against some really strong lads, provided some really close and enjoyable racing.
Massive thanks to all the WMCCL for another fantastic year of racing. Also another big thanks to Josh Williams for helping me out in the pits and being on hand all year and finally James Griffiths for my final round in Highley. Thanks lads!
