A newcomer to the region, Crispin Doyle of Magspeed Racing, was able to disrupt the Team Enable MI Racing domination of our V50+ races. After a couple of second placings, he got into his stride and finished the season with five wins to pip Nick Whitley by two points in the V50-54 category. John Darroch was third.
“This has been my first season in the WMCCL, having moved up from the Wessex area last year. While some of the names and faces have been very familiar, it’s been great fun discovering a bunch of new courses and places. Between the battles with great riders like Darren Atkins and Nicholas Whitely, and the trackside interactions with a bunch of new people, I’ve had a uniformly great time. I’m looking forward to next season already.
I’ve attached a photo from the Steve Knight Memorial race at the Heart of England Centre. That was quite a special race, both because of what it meant and the rather extreme conditions!”
Welcome to the WMCCL Crispin!
